As an avid player, I have been taught a couple of important lessons while gambling over the decades. Regardless if you are partial to betting at the ‘bricks and mortar’ casinos or the many net casinos. Here are my all important rules of gaming, many of which might be deemed common sense, but if adhered to they will assist you in going a long way to leaving with a sense of enjoyment.
Rule 1: Go into a casino with a determined amount that you are willing and are able to manage to risk – How much would you pay for a night out on diner, cocktails, cover charges and tips? This is an excellent value to use.
Rule 2: Do not pack your credit card out with you – or any means of withdrawing money out. Don’t worry about money for the cab if you burn it all; most taxi operators, notably the ones hailed at casinos, will drive you to your home and will be more than happy to wait for the money when you get home.
Rule 3: Stay to an upper threshold. I always imagine what I’d want to purchase should I succeed. The last time I went, I concluded I’d really would like to purchase a new digital SLR camera which cost about $400, so that was my predetermined limit. As soon as I surpassed that value, I walked away. Just walk away. Even if Mystic Megan herself gives you the next number for the roulette wheel, ignore her and leave. Leave comfortable in the understanding that you will certainly be heading into town and buying a delightful brand-new toy!
Rule four: Have fun. When you are "enthusiastic" you will succeed. It’s a certainty. I do not understand how, but it clearly is. Once it turns into a commitment, or you are simply gambling to gain money you have lost, you will certainly give up more. When you’re winning, having a good time with your mates, or your girlfriend, you will profit even more.
